Sadhguru (Jaggi Vasudev) is an Indian yogi and author who was born on September 3, 1957.
Vasudev graduated from the University of Mysore with a bachelor's degree in English and has been teaching yoga in southern India since 1982. He founded the Isha Foundation near Coimbatore in 1992, which operates an ashram, a yoga center, and is active in a variety of spiritual, educational, and environmental activities.
